COURAGE. ACTION. COMPASSION. THAT'S WHAT WE AIM TO DELIVER THROUGH OUR ONCOLOGY PROGRAMS.

At Eisai, we believe there's always more we can do to serve people living with cancer and the loved ones who care for them. That commitment is rooted in empathy, and it goes beyond the provisions of medicines as we continue to innovate to improve the lives of people every day. That's why our oncology efforts focus on honoring the strength of patients as well as providing resources, connection and inspiration to help patients and caregivers feel empowered to advocate for themselves and their health. We do what it takes to deliver impactful disease education initiatives and support programs by collaborating with various organizations to help us better understand and address the evolving needs of our patients.

MADE OF MORE: SHINING A LIGHT ON A COMMUNITY THAT IS MADE OF MORE THAN HEAD AND NECK CANCER

A head and neck cancer diagnosis can be complex and difficult to navigate. We created the Made of More initiative in collaboration with the Head and Neck Cancer Alliance (HNCA), Support for People with Oral and Neck Cancer (SPOHNC), THANC (Thyroid, Head and Neck Cancer Foundation) and CancerCare to unite and support those impacted by this disease. Because people living with head and neck cancers face a variety of physical, emotional and psychosocial challenges that may feel isolating, we set out to amplify their voices and experiences to show how they are each made of so much more their diagnosis. SPOT HER: ENDING THE SILENCE AROUND ENDOMETRIAL CANCER

Endometrial cancer is a growing gynecologic health concern that is often left unspoken. We've teamed up with SHARE Cancer Support, Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered (FORCE), and Black Health Matters to launch Spot Her and put the spotlight on this disease. Together, we aim to raise awareness about one of the most common yet under-recognized cancers. We do this by educating on the risk and symptoms, encouraging open and honest conversations about gynecologic health, building supportive community through sharing real-life stories, and inspiring others to take control of their health. To learn how you can help break the silence around endometrial cancer, visit SpotHerForEC.com.

We believe our empathy can help us to better address the ever-evolving needs of patients and their families, and our Magnolia Patient Support Programs is an embodiment of that–which includes meal deliveries and more. hhc IN ACTION

Our commitment to human health care (hhc) is at the heart of everything we do. The creation of a Wills Clinic started with an interaction between our legal team and a Magnolia Meals at Home® participant. She was not only fighting cancer, but also eviction. Our Pro Bono Committee worked to try to resolve her situation-and in the process, learned how legal assistance can serve to lighten the financial, housing and other burdens that complicate the daily struggles facing patients and their families. The Wills Clinic evolved over time to become the Magnolia Purpose in PlanningTM program, a resource designed to help support those affected by cancer in planning for the future, which serves as a testament to how we applied our hhc mission to drive innovation. Throughout the year, we participate in a variety of activities focused on socializing with patients and their loved ones. Engaging in our human health care (hhc) mission helps us better understand the realities that patients and caregivers face every day, and we bring that understanding and inspiration back to our work. Our dedicated team of patient advocates work tirelessly to represents the voices and needs of patients in all aspects of our business and help ensure that patient perspectives are always considered in the development of our products, programs, and initiatives.
