Comprehensive plans are offered to all regular, full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week. Coverage begins on the first day of employment.
Life Insurance coverage is offered at three times annual base salary up to a maximum of $750,000. Accidental Death and Dismemberment is provided to employees in an amount equal to the group life amount. Coverage begins on the first day of employment and is at no cost to employees.
Employees may purchase additional life insurance coverage for themselves and family members at discounted group rates. Employees may purchase up to 5 times their annual salary to a maximum of $750,000. Employees may also purchase home, auto or pet insurance coverage at discounted group rates.
Employees traveling for business purposes are covered by Eisai's travel accident insurance for the amount of ten (10) times base salary up to $1,000,000.
All full-time regular employees working 30 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits the first day of employment. Benefits are paid through a self-insured private plan.
A fully insured long-term disability plan is provided after 180 days of continuous disability. There is no cost to employees.
Employees may make pre-tax contributions to the Medical Spending Account in the amount of $2,500 or to the Dependent Care Account in the amount of $5,000. New employees may enroll on the first day of employment. Coverage begins on the first of the month following enrollment.
Employees are eligible to make tax-deferred contributions on the first of the month following your date of employment. Eisai matches 100% of the first 3% deferred and 50% of the next 2% deferred. There is immediate vesting in contributions and matching funds.
As an Eisai employee, you are also eligible to participate in the Eisai's Employer Annual Contribution. This is a non-contributory, discretionary payment that Eisai makes to assist you with planning for your retirement. The amount of the contribution, if any, is determined annually by Eisai and is typically tiered based on length of service.
Regular full-time employees receive a minimum of 20 Paid Time Off (PTO) days, which are accrued during the first calendar year of service. Additional PTO days are accrued based on years of service.
Eisai ordinarily closes its offices in observance of eleven designated holidays.
Eisai partners with Humana to provide a comprehensive Work-Life Solutions Program which an extensive array of resources and tools to help employees. Their custom services include, but are not limited to assistance identifying high quality child, elder or pet care, coping with grief and loss, paying for school, resolving legal or financial problems, relationship issues, depression, weight loss and recreational issues. They also offer confidential and professional counseling for employees and family members experiencing personal problems.
