MEDICAL, DENTAL, PRESCRIPTION & VISION PLANS
Comprehensive plans are offered to all regular, full-time employees. Coverage begins on the first day of employment.
BASIC LIFE INSURANCE/ACCIDENTAL DEATH & DISMEMBERMENT
Life insurance coverage is offered at three (3) times annual base salary up to a maximum of $750,000. AD&D is provided to employees in an amount equal to the group life amount. Coverage begins on the first day of employment and is at no cost to employees.
Employees may purchase additional life insurance coverage for themselves and family members at discounted group rates. Employees may purchase up to five (5) times their annual base salary to a maximum of $750,000. Employees may also purchase legal coverage, home, auto, or pet insurance at discounted group rates.
BUSINESS TRAVEL & ACCIDENT INSURANCE
Employees traveling for business purposes are covered by Eisai’s travel accident insurance for the amount of ten (10) times base salary up to $1,000,000.
All full-time regular employees are eligible for benefits the first day of employment. Benefits are paid through a self-insured private plan.
A fully insured long-term disability plan is provided after 180 days of continuous disability. There is no cost to employees.
FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS
Employees may make pre-tax contributions of up to $2,750 to the Healthcare Spending Account or up to $10,500 to the Dependent Care Spending Account. New employees may enroll on the first day of employment. Coverage begins on the first of the month following enrollment.
EISAI RETIREMENT PLAN
Employees are eligible to make tax-deferred contributions on the first of the month following their date of employment. Eisai matches 100% of the first 3% deferred and 50% of the next 2% deferred. There is immediate vesting in contributions and matching funds.
Eisai employees are also eligible to participate in Eisai’s Employer Annual Contribution. This is a non-contributory, discretionary payment that Eisai makes to assist employees with planning for their retirement. New hires are eligible to participate on the first of the month following 90 days of employment. Beyond that, employees are eligible to receive the Employer Annual Contribution if they are:
○ A regular full-time employee
○ You have completed 1,000 hours of service, and
○ You are actively employed by Eisai on December 31
The amount of the contribution, if any, is determined annually by Eisai and is typically tiered based on length of service.
Eisai ordinarily closes its offices in observance of 12 designated holidays.

Eisai partners with Humana to provide a comprehensive Work-Life Solutions Program with services that include, but are not limited to: identifying high quality child, elder or pet care; coping with grief and loss; paying for school; resolving legal, financial or relationship problems; and helping with depression, weight loss and chemical dependency issues. Confidential and professional counseling for employees and family members is also available. There is no cost to employees.
