Eisai's Oncology Clinical Trials

Clinical trials are research studies conducted with patients, usually to evaluate a new treatment or drug. Each trial is designed to answer scientific questions pertaining to the treatment of a specific disease.

Eisai clinical trials are evaluating potential new therapies for various cancer types where there are unmet medical needs. Eisai is committed to increasing awareness of its currently-enrolling clinical trials and to ensuring that clinical data on marketed products and investigational drugs are available to physicians.

Eisai provides information about its ongoing Phase II, III and IV oncology clinical trials. To find out more about current Eisai oncology trials underway or if a study is enrolling patients in your area, please visit www.clinicaltrials.gov or call Eisai Medical Services at (888) 422-4743.

Specifically, Eisai has several ongoing clinical trials for its investigational compound eribulin mesylate. Eribulin mesylate is being studied in a variety of tumor types including breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, soft-tissue sarcoma and prostate cancer. Eisai has several other investigational oncology compounds and biological agents in early stages of clinical development.
